What are the Key Deliverables in this role ?

Financial Outcomes

  • Optimize logistics cost (freight, route efficiency, vehicle utilization)
  • Drive cost savings through process improvements and automation (DMS/TMS)
  • Control freight billing accuracy and reduce cost leakages

Customer Service

  • Ensure high service levels (OTIF, fill rate, delivery timelines)
  • Manage distributor pickups and delivery execution efficiency
  • Improve reliability and responsiveness of transporter network

Internal Processes

  • Drive end-to-end supply chain process improvement across order-to-delivery
  • Lead transportation operations: routing, fixed vehicle planning, load optimization
  • Manage transporter lifecycle: onboarding, performance tracking, SLA adherence
  • Standardize processes via DMS & TMS implementation and governance
  • Monitor and improve key operational KPIs (cycle time, dispatch efficiency)

Innovation & Learning

  • Drive digital adoption and capability building on DMS & TMS platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Sales, Warehouse) for system enhancements
  • Implement continuous improvement culture and best practices in logistics
  • Strengthen data-driven decision-making through dashboards and reporting

 

What are the Critical success factors for the Role ?

  • Bachelors / Masters degree
  • 4-6 years of FMCG work experience preferably in Beverages

What are the Desirable success factors for the Role ?

  • Have demonstrated ability to deliver commercial value with strong Supply Chain, Distribution, Transportation management skills
  • Team management experience
