Job Description

 

 

What are the Key Deliverables in this role?

Financial Outcomes

  1. Cost of poor quality & wastage reduction: Tracking Cost of poor quality, reporting on regular basis and ensure testing on time and releasing of results.

Customer Service

  1. Customer/Consumer Complaints: Monitor the customer & consumer complaints, prepare detailed root cause analysis and mitigation plan to be prepared for genuine complaint.
  2. Checking for any complaints or Out of specs in testing and conducting RCA and taking CA.

Internal Processes

  1. Daily reporting of Quality KPI.
  2. Responsible for ensuring food safety systems are in place.
  3. Responsible for GMP and GHP in the unit.
  4. Responsible for executing Traceability and recall data requirement
  5. Ensuring Hygiene through-out the plant and personal hygiene.
  6. Responsible for closure of action points derived in the audits related to quality.
  7. Ensures compliances during External Audit Management system.
  8. Responsible for creating annual calendar for training and execution of the same for shop floor team on GMP and quality controls.
  9. Responsible for co-coordinating with customer departments like Quality Assurance, Functional departments like stores and production.
  10. Responsible for SAP related activities in process quality function.
  11. Should have good knowledge and responsible for preparing functional and system SOP.
  12. Responsible for planning and monitoring of day-to-day activities of the Physical and chemical sections of Quality Control.
  13. Monitor the lab with respect to adherence to GLP and review of various documents like SOP’s, specifications, method of analysis and the day to day analytical data.
  14. Responsible for sampling, analysis and release of raw material, Packaging materials, in process Semi-finished samples, finished products etc.

 

 

Innovation and Learning

  1. Conducting training to the shop floor team on the process, GMP and Food safety and lab practices.
  2. Responsible to develop and sustain Food Safety culture.
