Job Description

 

 

What are the Key Deliverables in this role?

Financial Outcomes

  • Responsible for assisting in provision of monthly spends (~₹50 Cr), ensuring accuracy in financial tracking and reporting.
  • Assisting in monthly forecasting activity and maintaining the margins in SAP. Monitoring of  spend percentages in the system to support efficiency and profitability.

Customer Service

  • Work to resolve price variance (PV) and quantity variance (QV) issues during customer invoice settlements.
  • Partner with GCC for invoice and debit note settlements, ensuring smooth payment processes.
  • Coordinate with GCC for timely PO creation across all vendors.

Internal Processes

  • Maintain and update the database for NPDs.
  • Support billing system integrity by monitoring margins and spend percentages.
  • Assist in monthly closing activities and ensure timely provisioning of spends.
  • Provide accurate reporting and support in reconciliation activities to aid decision‑making
  • Assist in preparation of forecast for monthly spends.
  • Assistance in driving digital projects for automation of various reports.
  • Assist in various ad hoc analysis and spends optimization evaluations.
  • Assisting in controlling & monitoring the Overruns against spends.

 

What are the Critical success factors for the Role ?

  • Qualification – M.Com/CA Inter/ ICWA Inter/MBA Finance
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in MIS reporting/sales finance/operations finance (preferably FMCG).
  • Strong analytical ability and interpersonal skills

What are the Desirable success factors for the Role ?

  • Strong Excel skills and analytical abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP, accounting, pricing.
  • Individual Contributor, ability to take initiative.
  • Strong Commercial acumen and Communication Skills.
