This role is responsible to head HR for the Manufacturing & Procurement (Packaging, Materials, Services) vertical in Product Supply Organization (PSO) within Integrated Operations, which includes multiple operating locations across the network in India, including own factories, 3Ps, etc. The incumbent will be responsible for partnering with the SVP to craft the people & organization plans to build a competitive and high performing organization.

  • Build a talent pipeline with the right skills and experiences to grow the business by identifying and nurturing talent.
  • Identify talent cohorts and enable capability build through intentional rotations.
  • Shape and enable a winning growth mindset that drives performance and engagement of a diverse and inclusive workforce, through digitally enabled people processes and systems.

 

Customer Service

Business Partnering

  • Deeply understand the manufacturing network, key priorities and translate those into people & organization goals.
  • Diagnose & address key opportunity areas to build a high performing Int Ops team within Manufacturing & Procurement.
  • Identify key risks and build mitigation plans to drive business growth plans.

Engagement & Performance

  • Drive engagement interventions to understand the pulse of the teams and construct action plans based on feedback.
  • Ensure regular connect with the team on ground through one on one/ group meetings / gembas with an aim to understand issues and chalk out plans to correct them.
  • Design/deliver organizational change/restructures as per the need of the business.

 

Internal Processes

ER & Compliance

  • Enable harmonious ER / IR across the network, aligned to the org priorities, while maintaining competitiveness.
  • Build the IR strategy across multiple locations & categories to enable supply continuity while ensuring high standards of safety & quality across the network.
  • Lead compliance and enable deployment to cater to business demands.
  • Provide advice and coaching to line managers on disciplinary or ethical cases. Be an ambassador of our values.  Lead ethically and model compliant behavior.

 

 

What are the Critical success factors for the Position?

 

  • Post-Graduation in Management with a specialization in HR from premier campus with 12+ years of experience. Preferred experience of managing various factories, including unionized ones. At least 3 years experience of leading a high performing team
  • Demonstrated ability to develop & implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Strong business acumen & leadership. Comfortable to work with all levels in the organization. 
  • Results-orientation with ability to execute in precise timelines.
  • Experience in partnering & developing relationships with senior functional leaders.
  • Strong analytical, strategical thinking, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Good knowledge of external HR trends, market, and competitors. Advanced MS Office skills
  • Excellent organization, written/verbal communication, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Ability to engage, inspire, and influence people and lead complex and transformation change.
  • Exceptional understanding of complex operations and ability to drive progressive ER practices and enable business continuity.
