Job Description

 

 

What are the Key Deliverables in this role? Financial Outcomes

 

Ù  Enable Business Insights team with Data Extraction from large databases as per required logics.

Ù Leverage advance analytics to Identify, analyse, interpret trends or patterns from complex data – K Means clustering, standard deviations, outliers to enable micro cluster level propositions for segmented execution

Ù Assortment & sell-in quantities recommendations at sub channel /outlet /cluster level by leveraging models like market basket analysis.

Ù  Recommending the promo bundles based on historic assortment of the channel/cluster

Ù  Identifying the right Trade scheme slabs based on historic patterns for the store/cluster, to maximize sale revenue.

 

Customer Service

Ù  Collaborate with CoE team/ sales team to translate the business logics to coding to enable precise actionable insights.

 

Internal Processes

Ù  Drive continuous refining of various analytics models to further improve reports & dashboards.

Digital & Innovation

Ù  Leverage AI/ML for predictive analysis & automation

Ù  Partner with digital to leverage robotics/ BI dashboards to standardize reports across regions and categories.

Ù  Support CoE & Digital to embed the frameworks, guiding principles & strategic goals at transaction level via SFA/ tools

What are the Critical success factors for the Role?

Ù  Master’s – MBA / Data Science / Statistics / Economics / Mathematics / Physics

Ù  Bachelor’s – Engineering / Data Science / Statistics / Economics / Mathematics / Physics

Ù  Minimum 3 years of experience in data analytics preferably in FMCG – F&B.

Ù  Proficiency in Python, SQL & Advance Excel (Power Query)

Ù  Strong analytical ability and interpersonal skills

Ù  Working knowledge of MS Excel & Power point.

Ù  Quick learner with growth mindset & collaborative approach

Ù  Agility to steer as per market trends / business prioritization.

What are the Desirable success factors for the Role?

Ù  Working knowledge of FMCG datasets. Ex: Nielsen Market share & distribution, Household panel data.

Ù  Basic understanding of sales and distribution of FMCG.
