Job Description

 

 

What are the Key Deliverables in this role ?

Financial Outcomes

  • Business Context Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of the industry, business processes, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide relevant insights.
  • Developing strategies for effective data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Apply industry knowledge to interpret data and improve performance

 

Customer Service

  • Collaboration & Project management:   Drive adoption of the Analytics Platform withing larger end user community
  • Responsible for streamlining data collection and correct discrepancies to ensure data quality
  •  

Internal Processes

  • Build statistical models for hypothesis validation, prediction, and estimation
  • Integrate sales & Marketing data across multiple sources into a unified Data repository in the TCPL Data Platform – to be used across multiple projects
  • Build data repository of ECOM, MT & other Digital marketing relevant streams which can be easily accessed by related team which can enable us to do comprehensive Offline & Online Data Analytics in tandem
  • Work towards standardizing and simplifying the Master Data Management processes
  • Work with relevant delivery teams as Product Owner and build pipelines of new requirements and manage the same on ongoing basis and track benefits/value after delivery of the same
  • Act as SME for any data requirement in Sales, Marketing & RGM functions from Business point of view

What are the Critical success factors for the Role ?

  • Data Analytics: Deep understanding of statistical method on hypothesis validation, prediction, and estimation
  • Experience in product/project management roles, data analytics
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field like computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related discipline from top tier college.
  • 5+ years of experience in data science, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are essential.
  • Adaptability: Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure the accuracy of data and analysis.

 

What are the Desirable success factors for the Role ?

  • Experience in FMCG industry would be beneficial but not mandatory
