Job Description

 

 

What are the Key Deliverables in this role ?

Financial Outcomes

  • Marketing procurement efficiency across Influencer, Outdoor, Cinema, Creative rates  for TCPL ensuring cost efficiency that align with the company's marketing objectives

Customer Service-> Collaboration and Stakeholder management

 

  • Collaborate with the marketing teams across categories for TCPL to forecast media requirements in mediums like Influencer, Outdoor, Cinema etc.  and plan marketing procurement.
  • Negotiate ad hoc rates, contracts and manage bidding
  • Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders to ensure that procurement activities support marketing strategies
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions

Internal Processes

  • Develop & Implement the media procurement strategy for the above said mediums aligned with business objectives and industry best practices
  • Streamline, standardize & manage the procurement processes on the media procurement for the above said mediums across all business units

 

Innovation and Learning

  • Drive differential procurement strategy to get increasing cost efficiency in the system
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in marketing procurement

 

What are the Critical success factors for the Role ?

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration/management/media/marketing
  • 10-14 years of hands-on marketing procurement experience in FMCG/D2C Companies
  • Knowledge of procurement tools and processes (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, or similar)
  • Ability to analyze market trends and optimize vendor selection
  • Strong expertise in digital media, influencer marketing, OOH, and Cinema

What are the Desirable success factors for the Role ?

  • Responsible for identifying, evaluating, and selecting marketing service providers, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality services
  • Identify and on-board key suppliers (e.g., digital platforms, advertising/media agencies, PR firms, event organizers, and celebrity management agencies)
  • Monitor and manage spending across marketing procurement categories
  • Conduct regular market analysis to benchmark pricing and supplier capabilities
  • Ensure procurement processes comply with organizational policies and external regulation
  • Self motivated and self starter who knows the knacks of procurement and can run the system with minimal intervention
