Job Description

 

 

What are the Key Deliverables in this role?

Financial Outcomes

  • Work with the Project Managers to identify the roles, responsibilities, deliverables, and timelines for RTR involved areas and ensure same is executed.
  • Validation & sign-off of solution design, effort estimation, timelines provided by Service Providers in SAP RTR.
  • Setting up the acceptance criteria and ensure updating of process documents & knowledge transfer from the Project team to SAP support teams for RTR.
  • By optimizing the record-to-report processes, increases the revenue, accelerated cash flows, reduce the cost of sale, enhanced profit margins, decrease the day of outstanding, risk reduction and the statutory complaints and financial reporting of respective legal entities.

Customer Service

  • Work with SAP Support & Business teams as needed to resolve critical support issues (incidents) in SAP RTR
  • To improve not only the efficiency and effectiveness of the Finance processes but also to significantly enhance the quality, accuracy finance data, thereby driving higher business team satisfaction by faster response time.

Internal Processes

  • Engage with business to challenge, validate and finalize new requirements in SAP RTR to maintain standard template and best practices.
  • Ownership of business solutions in end-to-end RTR area.
  • Should be able to anchor independently on new Projects/Work Packages/Change requests in the RTR.
  • Develop and maintain the knowledge repository and ensure all technical documents are up to date in SAP RTR
  • Work with Technical Leads to suggest upgrades, patches and notes application in SAP RTR
  • Validate & confirm the solutions, efforts/timelines estimation provided by service providers in SAP RTR
  • Work with SAP Support teams & Business teams as needed to resolve the critical support issues in SAP RTR
  • Periodic interactions with business stake holders for SAP RTR
  • Work with the Project Managers to identify the roles, responsibilities, deliverables, and timelines for RTR involved areas
  • Thorough knowledge in inter functions modules of sales, purchases and production areas
  • Setting up the acceptance criteria and ensure & knowledge transfer from the Project team to SAP support teams for RTR
  • Adherence to Project Management Office processes
  • Work with applications support team to coordinate the audit for SAP related queries in SAP RTR

  • Learn continuously, add value to business and keep RTR function best in the industry.
  • Closely work business and transformation leaders to understand deep understanding on ground experience and ensure to have up-to-date business knowledge in the respective function.

What are the Critical success factors for the Role?

  • CA/MBA(Finance) OR minimum 10+ years finance domain experience. In addition, minimum 8 to 10 years SAP RTR experience.
  • Minimum 3 full life cycle project implementation in SAP S/4 HANA RTR Module.
  • Expert in end-to-end RTR process including masters like Chart of Accounts, General Ledger, Cost/Profit Centres, Costing etc and Process like Accounts Payable, Receivables, Production Costing, Cost allocation, Banking reconciliation and Asset accounting.
  • Expert in Taxation, Financial Reporting & Legal compliances especially India and International standards
  • SAP Interface with third party applications banking, vendor/customer portals, taxation, etc
  • Good cross module knowledge with Procurement/Sales and Distribution/Production processes.
  • Self-motivated and interested in innovation led working atmosphere.
