  • Balancing Strategic Vision with Operational Execution: The role requires translating high-level business goals into actionable digital solutions while managing day-to-day delivery. This means constantly aligning product maps with evolving finance function priorities, regulatory requirements, and enterprise-wide transformation goals.
  • Driving Agile Delivery in a Governance-Heavy Environment: While agile methodologies promote speed and flexibility, Finance functions often operate under strict controls. The role must ensure agile practices are followed without compromising on compliance, risk management, and audit-readiness—especially when validating MVPs with legal, fraud, and continuity teams.

What are the Key Deliverables in this role ?

Financial Outcomes

  • Drive financial efficiency, value creation, and cost optimization through digital transformation
  • Lead initiatives to automate and streamline operations & process efficiency for Integrated finance leading to % reduction in operational costs across finance and shared services
  • Support digital tools that enhance capital planning, investment analysis, and deal evaluation.
  • Enable cost transparency and control across shared services.

Customer Service

  • Understand the needs of finance transformation while closely working with stakeholders across Integrated finance and translate them into product functionalities that improve user experience.
  • Enhance service delivery and responsiveness of shared services through digital platforms leading to % reduction in manual interventions and reporting errors

 

Internal Process

  • Drive transformation of processes such as budgeting, forecasting, compliance, contract lifecycle management, and deal due diligence.
  • Drive integration of  ERP, legal tech, and shared services platforms with automation and AI tools.
  • Ensure robust data governance, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Validate product definitions with risk, fraud, legal, compliance, and continuity teams.
  • Lead and safeguard agile methodology, ceremonies, and scrum practices to ensure delivery discipline.

 

Innovation and Learning

  • Build digital capabilities and foster a culture of innovation across all finance-related teams
  • Apply experience across digital transformation in Finance, HR, Legal, and Shared Services.
  • Leverage tools like P2P, HRMS, T&E, R2R, and Data Lake to drive tech-enabled innovation.

 

 

 

 

What are the Critical success factors for the Role ?

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Law, Business, or Technology
  • 8–12 years of experience in finance transformation, legal operations, shared services, or M&A strategy
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems, legal tech, shared services platforms, and data analytics tools
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional digital transformation initiativesProven ability to translate business needs into digital product strategies, driving measurable outcomes in operational efficiency, compliance, and user experience.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise platforms and tools such as: Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS), Travel & Expense (T&E), Record-to-Report (R2R), Data Lake and analytics platforms
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, product lifecycle management, and stakeholder engagement in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Formal exposure to Technology Development, Product Management, or Digital Strategy, with certifications in Agile, Scrum, or related frameworks considered a plus.
