Complexity of the role:

• Should be able to anchor independently on SAP S4/HANA Projects / Work Packages / Change Request in the Source to Settle/ Quality/Warehouse management modules for Tata Consumer Products globally.
• Responsible for maintaining and run SAP S4/HANA 2023 200+ processes running across the globe at the own production units and 2P/3P (120+) locations to plan, procure & supply approx. INR 14,000 crores value of products.
• Have knowledge of handling multiple legal entities running on a single global SAP S4/HANA 2023 instance and worked on merger and acquisitions, new roll out plants using the global standard template.

What are the Key Deliverables in this role?

Financial Outcomes

• Work with the Project Managers to identify the roles, responsibilities, deliverables, and timelines for STS involved areas and ensure the same is carried out.
• Validation & sign-off of solution design, effort estimation, timelines provided by service providers in SAP STS.
• Setting up the acceptance criteria and ensuring updating of process documents & knowledge transfer from the Project team to SAP support teams for STS.
• Reduction in operational costs due to increased efficiency, elimination of redundancies, or economies of scale.
• By optimizing the Source-to-Settle processes, optimizing the cost of procurement, accelerated cash flows, reduce the cost of inventory holding, improve the supplier satisfaction, decrease the day of outstanding, risk reduction and the statutory complaints and financial reporting of supplier and materials management.

Customer Service

• Work with SAP Support & Business teams as needed to resolve critical support issues (incidents) in SAP and Non-SAP landscape.
• To improve not only the efficiency and effectiveness of the SAP/Integrated application landscape but also to significantly enhance the quality of products procured, ontime in full deliveries, reduce stock out production and movement of finished products to sales locations. Thereby, driving higher customer satisfaction by faster response time, accurate order fulfilment.

Internal Processes

• Hold the end-to-end ownership of STS module and maintained up-to-date process documentation, test management tool scripts and training documents.
• Initiate engagement with business to challenge status quo, validate and finalize new requirements in SAP STS to maintain a global standard template and best practices.
• Continuously improve the STS processes to improve it’s maturity level to best-in-class standard.
• Work with Operations Lead to suggest upgrades & patches to keep the SAP up to date.
• Work with Applications Lead to Support audit for SAP queries in SAP STS.

• Learn continuously, add value to business and keep STS function best in the industry.
• Closely work business and transformation leaders to understand deep understanding on ground experience and ensure to have up-to-date business knowledge in the respective function.

What are the Critical success factors for the Role?

• Engineering Graduate / MBA / Post Graduate in Arts/Commerce/Science with 15 years of overall experience with 12 years SAP STS, QM & WM experience.
• Minimum 3 to 4 full life cycle project implementation in SAP S/4 HANA STS/QM/WM Modules.
• Expert in end-to-end STS process including Masters like Material, Vendor, Batch Management, Purchase requestions, MRP configuration/execution, purchase orders, Goods receipts, quality inspection, warehouse management, Sub-contracting Purchase and invoice posting and payments.
• Expert in in-bound material quality management and warehouse management (EWM or LE-WM).
• Good experience in SAP Interface with third party applications to get sourcing plan, requirement planning, transportation management and payment interfaces etc., through API, EDI/IDocs tools with middleware platform. 
• Good cross module knowledge with PTP/LTC/RTR.
• Self-motivated and interested in innovation led working atmosphere.
• Preferred to have 2/3 years of procurement and inbound supply chain domain experience.
