Financial Outcomes  Lead the end-to-end Capex planning and governance process for the Food and EOU categories, including the development of annual and long-range Capex budgets, preparation and review of Capital Funding Reports (CFR), and ongoing tracking of project-wise capital expenditure. Ensure robust cash-flow planning, variance analysis, and compliance with internal financial controls to support investment decisions and timely execution of capital projects.  Drive continuous improvement in energy performance by leveraging the Energy Management System (EMS) to monitor energy usage, identify inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop reduction strategies, track energy intensity KPIs, and enable sustainable operations aligned with organizational goals. Customer Service  Support new product launches in the Foods and EOU categories by identifying required equipment, coordinating procurement with the Purchase team, and conducting post-implementation evaluations.  Coordinate with Operations to establish factories and operational infrastructure, ensuring readiness, installation, and smooth commissioning.  Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring completion within agreed scope and timelines, and hand over finalized outputs to the appropriate business owners. Internal Processes  Define and scope assigned projects in partnership with business stakeholders, ensuring clarity of objectives, deliverables, and expected outcomes for the category.  Review and finalize technical inputs and approvals for all civil, electrical, and Capex projects, ensuring adherence to design, stability, and compliance requirements.  Lead the end-to-end bidder and contract management process, including vendor identification, evaluation, negotiation, and finalization of agreements for the category.  Oversee execution and progress tracking of projects involving machinery upgrades, manufacturing infrastructure, office setups, and related initiatives.  Monitor, drive, and report sustainability initiatives, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and internal standards for the category.  Ensure adherence to health and safety standards for all new equipment and ongoing upgrades to existing assets.  Manage timely issuance and renewal of pan-India annual maintenance contracts (AMCs) for all category assets.  Oversee electrical safety audits, energy audits, and ISO certifications for all units within the category. Innovation and Learning  Support the identification and execution of automation and energy-conservation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs across the category.  Contribute to OEE enhancement and process-improvement projects, ensuring consistent performance optimization and operational excellence.  Adopt, implement, and scale new technologies, including Automation and Industry 4.0/IoT solutions, to strengthen manufacturing and operational capabilities.  Develop and implement strategies to transition to renewable energy sources, driving sustainability goals and long-term energy resilience for the category. What are the Critical success factors for the Role?  Engineering degree (Electrical/Mechanical/Instrumentation) with 12-15 years’ work experience in Engineering in FMCG industry.  Knowledge & prior experience in Machine Design / Technology / Safety; Process Improvement;  Hands-on experience in Greenfield and Brownfield expansions, covering Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and Instrumentation preferably within the Food and Beverage industry.  Excellent Negotiation and Stakeholder Management Skills  Project management, Vendor management, Contract management  Knowledge in SAP, MS Projects and CAD  What are the Desirable success factors for the Role?  Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and manage complex and ambiguous scenarios.  Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering actionable insights and innovative solutions.
