Overall responsibility:

The Assistant Manager – Marketing will play a pivotal role in shaping and execution of campaigns by assisting category managers.  This role is ideal for a dynamic marketer who is passionate about building new categories, driving consumer engagement, and delivering business growth. The incumbent will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, agency partners, and key stakeholders to ensure effective brand activation and sustained category development.

What are the Key Deliverables in this role?  

Financial Outcomes

  • Drive initiatives to achieve targeted revenue growth for Clean and Gifting categories.
  • Oversee rationalization of Kure packs to optimize SKU efficiency and profitability.
  • Implement price innovation strategies to enhance competitiveness and protect margins.
  • Track and analyze category performance metrics to identify growth opportunities.

 

Customer Service

  • Drive brand activation for all Organic India categories.
  • Assisting category managers on campaign execution across social media, PR, in store visibility among others.
  • Educate and engage customers to drive awareness, engagement, and retention for business growth.
  • Drive customer engagement and product trials through innovative campaigns and sampling initiatives.
  • Ensure stock connectivity for display and sampling requirements across all channels/stakeholders.
  • Reach 4 lakh households via Quick Commerce and conduct 400–500 wet sampling drives (SAMT/MT/Jogger Park) across channels.
  • Support teams with sample connectivity for dry sampling initiatives.

 

Internal Processes

  • Execute efficient end-to-end project management with a focus on on-time, in-full execution.
  • Anchor cross-functional team (CFT) networks to drive new product launch projects and campaign objectives.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure efficient provisioning of bills.
  • Ensure timely creative approvals by relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate channel support and deployment for innovative stalls that position the brand as a thought leader.
  • Monitor participation in key national expos and execute visibility contests (e.g., June SRT collaboration).

 

Innovation and Learning

  • Demonstrate creativity in asset development to deliver innovative visibility elements and merchandise collaterals, leveraging SRT's affiliation and celebrity associations.
  • Efficiently develop creative assets by capitalizing on celebrity partnerships to enhance brand visibility.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for creative thought and efficient execution to achieve campaign/project objectives.
  • Leverage learnings from campaign execution and customer engagement initiatives for ongoing improvement.

 

 

 

What are the Critical success factors (Key requirement) for the Role?

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in brand management, product marketing, or trade marketing within the FMCG, consumer goods, or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing end-to-end marketing campaigns, new product launches, and cross-functional project management.
  • Hands-on exposure to vendor management, creative asset development, and channel support activities.
  • Experience with customer engagement initiatives, sampling drives, and participation in expos or large-scale brand events is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using data analytics and marketing tools to track performance and inform decision-making.
