Job Description

 

 

What are the Key Deliverables in this role?

 

Financial Outcomes

  • Month end closing activities related to P&L and BS. Appropriate provisioning and correctness of sales (including sales reversals).
  • Discussing the P&L with Business team along with various cuts.
  • Appropriate recording of PLI accrued Income.
  • Checking correctness of BS items (Debtors, inventory and creditors)
  • Detailed budgeting exercise- Calculation and analyzing of contributory margins and gross margins by countr’ category
  • Contribute in strengthening bottom-line by analyzing COGS and export related freight and other expenses.
  • Prepare Periodic Review meetings presentation decks with analysis and insights on business performance
  • Closely align with Business Heads for preparation of Business P&L’s and help in implementation of the same. Understanding all the revenue & cost Headers in detail figure out the avenues for optimization.
  • Spends tracking (BTL+ATL).

 

Customer Service

  • Focus on negative margin SKUs and drive actions
  • Focusing on low margin countries and driving better EBIT %
  • Drive efficiencies to improve EBIT.
  • Driving cost savings charter for exports business.

Internal Processes

 

  • Providing support to business team for profitable growth of export business
  • Establishing an appropriate internal process for recognizing and booking of all expenses associated with the P/L
  • Creating Price List and Building Control process & system checks to ensure correct capturing of prices & discounts
  • Drive controls around customer due diligence, onboarding, ensuring standard payment terms of TCPL to be implemented and other requisite controls by benchmarking with TCPL Exports.

 

 

What are the Critical success factors for the Role?

  • P&L understanding, COGS basic understanding , stakeholder management and excel proficiency

  • Should be confident working with multiple stakeholders (External Internal)
  • Capable of working with senior leadership
  • Ability to interpret large data on sales, Cogs, pricing.
