What are the Key Deliverables in this role?

Financial Outcomes

• Evaluation and Validation: Develop Good maintenance practices and Focus improvements & Kaizens for operation Maintenance solutions. Validation of all Projects implementation & Process improvements assigned from management.

Customer Service

• Solution Development: Lead the team operating machines without any major issues and make sure the machine’s availability and Support on ensure plant wastage due to equipment breakdowns are to the minimum as per targets.

Internal Processes

• Operation & Maintenance Experience on 11KV/415V Electrical System equipment, Transformers, Power Panels, Control Panels & Motors.
• Hands-on experience with Electrical Power & Control Circuits Trouble Shooting, Process instruments, Starters & VFDs.
• Hands-on experience in more than 100Kwph solar power operation and maintenance.
• Experience in Firefighting system maintenance
• Responsible for Legal & Statutory of equipment’s related to CEIG Inspection & Electrical Safety documents, third party certification, etc.
• Set and monitor the performance of the plant equipment’s against standards and targets in areas such as equipment uptime, MTTR, MTBF etc.
• Set and monitor performance of operations, Maintenance for Plant Electrical systems & equipment.
• Ensure Uptime of the entire plant Equipment’s inclusive of Utilities, Production unit, Packaging, Facility etc.
• Ensure the facility maintenance of the factory as per Standards.
• Maintain RCA tracker sheet of CAPA for closure of all breakdowns in the plant.
• Ensure Preventive Maintenance of All Equipment’s in the plant is executed as per Criticality of machines and ensure its effectiveness through SAP and PM pillar of TPM.
• Analyze Energy drive projects/Kaizens for improvement. Identify the gaps and develop culture on Sustainability.
• Meet all Safety, food safety requirements while executing Maintenance, Projects
• Maintain Spares of Plant overall with ROL and ROQ in terms of instrumentation.
• Drive Changeover reduction and automation projects, Cost Saving projects.
• Develop local vendors for Imported spares, indigenization of spares.
• Coordinate for all Audits from Safety, Food safety, TPM, ISO, Legal audits etc.
• Support on Engineering digitalization activities

• Foster Innovation in process optimization by effective Operation & Maintenance
• Ethical Considerations: Stay updated on advanced technologies on industries surrounding for process improvement in operation & maintenance. Foster a culture of good maintenance practice within the organization.

What are the Critical success factors for the Role?

• B. Tech / BE in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Karnataka Electricity Board Electrical C License candidates are preferable
• 3 – 6 years of Maintenance experience in a Food industry
• Experience in managing Manufacturing Operations & Maintenance of Electrical, Instrumentation and Civil

What are the Desirable success factors for the Role?

• Knowledge of Food industry preferably in Milling, product transfer and packaging
• Good communication skills (English, Kannada/Hindi).
• Proven experience in Engineering departments within a factory
• Good in Manpower Management Skills
• Computer proficiency (MS office, SAP, Google drive, Power Bi) and Advanced MS office
