Bill of Materials (BOM)

• To review and release the BOMs in SAP for all product categories (for both SFG & FG) to ensure it accurately reflects the master recipe formula, material codes, UOM, quantities and other relevant information

• Review that the BOM in SAP comply to Regulatory, Quality and Technical standards by checking against SOPs, Unit regulatory documents and master data etc

• Responsible to manage the workflow for BOM approval, routing the BOM to relevant stakeholders for their sign-off

• Responsible for final approval in SAP to authorize the BOM for implementation once all other stakeholders have approved it

• Link the BOM to relevant unit for production. Maintain record all BOM changes and approvals

• Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders across different departments, such as R&D, PSO etc to address any issues and ensure alignment

• Govern the entire BOM process for existing products and NPDs to ensure accuracy

SAP Activities:

• To block & unblock Bill of materials after adequate authorization and justification

• Blocking of RM/PM/SFG/FG stocks in SAP with adequate authorization and justification

• Track the blocked stocks in SAP and do follow-up for further decision

• Support traceability building activities in SAP basis gap analysis

• Review and identify gaps in current system and lead the improvisation projects along with IT team. Initiating change request for any upgradation/modification in SAP module and validating for implementation   Resolve the queries and issues related to SAP
