What are the Key Deliverables in this role ?

Financial Outcomes

  • Develop and maintain RM & PM requirement plans based on production schedules and forecasts.
  • Ensure timely procurement of materials to avoid stock-outs or excess inventory.
  • Monitor supplier lead times and update planning parameters accordingly.
  • Coordinate with procurement team for PO placement and delivery tracking.
  • Customer Service
  • Create and manage supply plans aligned with demand forecasts and production capacity.
  • Balance inventory levels to meet service targets while minimizing working capital.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams for seamless execution.
  • Identify risks in supply continuity and develop mitigation plans.
  • Internal Processes
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels for RM, PM, and finished goods.
  • Track slow-moving and obsolete materials; initiate corrective actions.
  • Ensure accurate inventory data in ERP systems..
  • Liaise with suppliers for timely deliveries and resolve supply issues.
  • Communicate supply constraints and propose solutions
  • Innovation and Learning

Prepare weekly/monthly RM & PM availability reports.

Analyze forecast accuracy and material consumption trends.

 

What are the Critical success factors for the Role ?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in RM/PM planning and supply planning.
  • Experience in FMCG, Pharma, or Manufacturing industry preferred

What are the Desirable success factors for the Role ?

  • Strong knowledge of RM & PM planning processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Understanding of supply chain principles and inventory optimization.
