What are the Key Deliverables in this role ?

Customer Service

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance
• Liaison with the purchase for the low stock and over stock items and follow up for the same.
• Maintain the spares for machineries.

Internal Processes

• Assisting Plant Engineer to Monitor, measure and report on Maintenance related process performance, general issues
• Problem solving and trouble shooting skills are used to ensure that all team members can identify root causes and take fast effective action to resolve the problems in hand, sometimes in shift wise need to work in floor shop machineries break downs.
• Assisting Plant Engineer for determining engineering requirements by conducting inspections and analytical tests; analyzing and synthesizing data; maintaining control charts; determining root causes; preparing bid specifications.
•  Assisting Plant Engineer to resolve engineering problems by collecting and analyzing information; researching, analyzing, adapting, and modifying engineering techniques; recommending solutions; preparing drawings, schematics, and diagrams; evaluating components, materials, and suppliers; resolving design integration issues; developing specifications and safety standards; performing installations.
•  Assisting Plant Engineer to Meets cost standards by preparing cost-benefit analyses, tracking and reporting expenses.
•  Ensures operation of analytical equipment by calibrating equipment; completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
• Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
• Prepares engineering reports with coordination of Plant Engineer by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends; entering data and generating reports and presentations; performing calculations.
• Ensure   smooth functioning of ETP, RO plant, Energy consumption and Boiler. Track the consumption records against the operations hours.
• Maintaining FSMS & HACCP systems.
• Making Staff & workers aware of FSMS & HACCP systems.
• Ensuring maintenance activity complies food safety requirements.

Innovation & Learning

• Capability to handle Machine Maintenance during Shift operation or prevent Break Down.

What are the Critical success factors for the Position?

• Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic & Instrumentation
• 3-5 years of engineering/Maintenance /Projects experience in a reputed FMCG manufacturing industry.
• Experience in managing Engineering within Manufacturing Operations &Hands on Experience in Maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical, Civil & instrumentation areas, especially in Food Packaging Industry,
• Computer proficiency with CAD, MS office.s

What are the Desirable success factors for the Position?

• Knowledge of manufacturing Frozen foods, Pack food.
• Good communication skills (Hindi,Gujarati,English)
• Proven experience in design to development of machine components /parts – Hands on experience basic machine tool operations (welding, cutting, drilling, grinding, sheet metal works and machining operations).
