Internal Processes

Set and monitor the performance of the plant equipment’s against standards and targets in areas such as equipment uptime, MTTR, MTBF etc.

Reduction in machine wastages

Leading In house kaizen activities.

Engineering related support for all internal and external audits of the unit.

Ensure high levels of productivity & engagement within Technical Crew teams.

Ensure plant wastage due to equipment breakdowns are to the minimum as per targets.

To ensure and drive systems such as Root cause analysis, Corrective action, and preventive action system in place to ensure continuous improvement.

Technical support for safety & EMS management to drive closure of Safety and quality requirements of the factory.

To overview Spares Planning & Procurement, Vendor selection and performance evaluation.

Should be able to interact with internal stakeholders like production, Safety, quality, HR and resolve the issues in day-to-day activities.

Drive / collaborate in Improvement Initiatives.

Kaizen, 5S etc. to improve plant efficiency.

To monitor capex spends, cashflow and ensure to meet the capex target timelines.

To Support in Project activities of the plant.

Adherence to preventive maintenance schedule.

Documentation of preventive maintenance formats, line monitoring reports, line changeover formats, breakdown records and history cards.

Involving in changeover activities and optimize changeover time.

Monitoring actual Vs target shift output and monitor line losses & breakdowns.

Ensuring machine performance to meet product specifications & quality standards.

Frequent plant rounds including utility areas to ensure smooth running of machinery and production operations.
Innovation and Learning

Lead projects Mainly on NPD, packaging changes & Value based reengineering, technology upgradation etc.

Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans and conferring with management.

Building technical competency among the technical crew and multi-skilling them.

Completes technical studies and prepares cost estimates.

Cross implementation of improvement projects.
