Job Description

 

 

 

What are the Key Deliverables in this role?

 

Customer Service                                                                                   

  • Lead & support factory team to perform and service internal and external consumer requirements.
  • Mindful on Safety, Quality, Cost, Efficiency & Delivery & also developing and delivering NPDs on time.
  • Supporting RND for NPD
  • Support FM on Monthly MIS & finance cost impact analysis and mitigation to improve the Gross margin of the products by reducing the Factory overheads

 

Internal Processes

  • Support factory day-to-day operations & new product development for the Frozen Export snack factory.
  • Manage the assigned innovation portfolio from concept to commercialization in accordance with Time line and ensure execution of project on time, cost and quality to the requirements and expectations of key stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute project implementation plan in conjunction with the business stakeholders to establish the key operational purpose, deliverables, goals and results from projects allocated
  • Ensure on time closure of deliverables in collaboration with CFT members and plant team through periodic interaction and meetings
  • Resolve any issues pertaining to new product introduction – by working with cross-functional team members, escalation on-time
  • Manage New product introduction projects for successful commercial production ensuring smooth hand-over to production team
  • Commit to plant safety procedures & deploy safety culture in factory
  • Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our internal and external customers’ expectations
  • Meeting the export requirements & Managing SEZ & Local stakeholders – Export
  • Increasing production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
  • Responsibility for production output, product quality and on-time shipping
  • Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
  • Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff team.
  • Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.
  • Triggering RCA and acting on the consumer complaints and implement actions to avoid repeatability
  • SAP Hygiene and Stock Accuracy & CAPEX Managements – Budgeting, Procurement Support , Erection and commissioning
  • Maintain the infra of the plant – retain the basic condition of the plant as new

Innovation & Learning

  • Identifying TNA of Leads and ensuring the same is captured in training calendar
  • Work as part of the Central team to share ideas and improve operation, recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities and process and procedure improvements to optimize results and improve quality of delivery

 

What are the Critical success factors for the Position?

  • 2 years of expertise in Frozen FMCG operations +  3 years of NPD exposure
  • Food Technology background with 7 + Years of Experience from reputed MNCs
  • Excellent leadership and man management skills. Preferably exposure to SAP based working Able to exercise some latitude and technical judgement in deciding work methods
  • Basic awareness of statutory requirements

 

What are the Desirable success factors for the Position?

  • Good communication skills (English / Hindi / Gujarati)
  •   Computer proficiency (MS office, SAP, Google drive). Advanced MS office and SAP working knowledge is a must.
