Job Description

 

 

What are the Key Deliverables in this role?

Financial Outcomes

  • Ensuring quality function requirement are completed in time and sharing results for SAP recording.
  • Ensure GMP/GHP in warehouse & follow-up for closing of audits finding.

Customer Service

  • Handling of the Customer complaints of the unit and carry out RCA & CAPA.
  • Generation and maintenance MIS system of the unit as per laid down protocol.

Internal Processes

  • Maintenance of ISO 22000:2018 management system of the unit (Knowledge on FSSC 22000_V6 preferred).
  • Manage entire Documentation related to FSMS/QMS/Verification/Validation and other as applicable.
  • Take part in the various trials for product & process improvement as per the guidelines.
  • Conducting process capability study and other process improvement activities using TQM tools.
  • Ensure Quality control activities of the unit as per laid down protocol for incoming RM/PM, in process and FG specially Spices (Pure & Blend) and Whole Spices. Parameters getting tested at External lab and FSSAI norms for the same.
  • Responsible to develop and sustain Food Safety culture.

Innovation and Learning

  • Imparting training to educate the shop floor employees on GMP/Food Safety/FSSC 22000 requirements/ FSSAI requirements.
  • Responsible for data compilation, analysis and generate various reports related to quality.
  • Any other activity which will be communicated from the corporate team from time to Time.

 

What are the Critical success factors for the Role?

  • M.Sc./B.Tech (Food Technology/Engineering/Food Engineering)
  • 2-4 years’ experience in Spices QC/QA function in Food Industry.

 

What are the Desirable success factors for the Role?

  • Knowledge of quality and food safety requirement including FSMS requirements.
  • Leadership quality and analytical capability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) & SAP.
  • Communication skills, ability to grasp new concept and implement.
  • Good Knowledge on in QC data analysis, Quality tools and trouble shooting.
