What are the Key Deliverables in this role?

 

Financial Outcomes

  • Reduce operational costs associated with export activities such as optimizing inventory levels to reduce storage costs, minimizing transportation costs through efficient dispatch planning, leveraging economies of scale in production & reduce FG aging
  • Ensure uninterrupted supplies to Global Markets to avoid out of stock situation and sale loss.

 

Customer Service

  • Act as a key point of contact for international sales team and provide prompt & clear communication regarding order status, shipment updates and highlight issues/risk associated with the product supply.
  • Supporting production plants for timely release of forecast and orders.
  • Managing orders efficiently by accurately processing orders, coordinating with production and logistics teams to ensure on-time shipment and handling any change requests from customers promptly.
  • Provide timely resolutions to customer concerns to enhances satisfaction and build trust.
  • Maximize DIFOT

Internal Processes

  • Develop processes and Strategy related to Export Planning and ensuring full compliance.
  • Derive standard supply lead time for all product categories and ensure SLAs are met for all Global Markets.
  • Support the Project team for new product launch and design changes.

Innovation and Learning

  • Contribute towards strategy development, budgeting, capacity analysis, mid-term and annual business planning and initiative implementation through innovation and best practices implementation.

 

What are the Critical success factors for the Role ?

  • Qualification: BE / BTECH/Graduate (MBA – Operations preferred)
  • Experience: 6-8 years’ experience in Domestic/Global Supply Chain Planning

 

What are the Desirable success factors for the Role ?

  • Knowledge of Supply chain planning process & practices
  • High proficiency in data handling, MS-Excel & SAP
  • Prior experience of working on Planning Software
  • Being flexible, managing multiple priorities and able to adjust to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and solutioning mindset.
