What are the Key Deliverables in this role ?

Financial Outcomes

 

  • Tracking placement efficiency and transporter performance metrics
  • Managing the TMS (Transport Management System) process for all movements and ensuring full compliance
  • Follow-up coordination with Transporters for placement to ensure better coordination, reduction in delays and penalties

Customer Service

  • Monitoring & placing vehicles for direct dispatch to Customer
  • Ensuring timely deliveries for all direct dispatch vehicles to Customers
  • Monitoring & Tracking of Vehicles post-dispatch & ensure timely delivery at destination
  • POD Collection from all transporters

Internal Processes

  • Supporting production plants/S&OP with timely placement of trucks for moving material as per plan
  • Tracking of Vehicles & Courier Movements
  • Daily MIS for SIT
  • Monitoring & Tracking of Vehicles post-dispatch & ensure timely delivery at destination

Innovation & Learning

  • Facilitate communication between different stakeholders including production, Finance, sales & distribution to ensure smooth & efficient supply chain operation
  • SIT Adherence monitoring as per agreed TAT (if tied to continuous improvement initiatives)
  • GPS Tracking Adherence for all vehicles dispatched from Capital Foods Pvt Ltd plants

 

What are the Critical success factors for the Role ?

  • Qualification: B. Tech/MBA
  • Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in Primary logistics and warehousing
  •  

What are the Desirable success factors for the Role ?

 

  • Knowledge of Supply chain planning process & practices
  • High proficiency in data handling, MS-Excel & SAP
  • Prior experience of working on TMS & SAP
  • Knowledge of Distribution Requirements Planning, Logistics Operations, Investigation & Root Cause Analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and solutioning mindset.
