This role is responsible for driving manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently in safe manner meeting the market requirement based on the production plan and contribute towards developing processes, system, and protocols in production environment to deliver high standards of quality, safety whilst controlling costs of operation to delight customers.

This job is at N-4 Level (N corresponds to CEO’s level)

What are the Key Deliverables in this role ?

• Support the Health and Safety head in defining and deploying Health and Safety Programs in the respective cluster at TCPL.
• To execute and implement all Health and Safety Measures across TCPL Offices, Factories, and Warehouses in the respective cluster at TCPL.

Financial Outcomes

• Ensure the Safe Operation without any H&S issues affecting Business

Customer Service

• Create and Develop a H&S Culture across all the sites and offices in the respective cluster at TCPL.
• Partner with location SPOCs and leaders to develop and implement strategies, policies, and services to improve health and safety standards in the cluster.
• Conducting safety/environmental training/presentation/ programs for different types of activities for all category of employees/Workers.

Internal Processes

• Develop H&S strategy and road map for businesses to attain Zero Harm goal
• Ensure compliance to existing H&S Policies and develop programs to develops best in class H&S standards
• Safety audit, inspection, safety committee meeting and prepare reports on incidents and provide statistical information to senior management on a continuous basis.
• Tracking and monitoring of H&S related corrective actions identified from risk assessments.
• Own and deliver all projects related to H&S in the respective cluster at TCPL.

What are the Critical success factors for the Role ?

• Qualification: BE / BTECH (Electrical /  Mechanical /Chemical With Industrial Safety Diploma / Masters in industrial safety from a recognised institution  ) /  ( B.E / BTECH  Safety Engineering ) or any other equivalent
• Experience: Minimum 10 years relevant experience in FMCG company

What are the Desirable success factors for the Role?

• ISO 14001 & 45001 Lead / Internal Audit Certification
• Analytical & People negotiation skills & Good awareness in Statutory requirements
• Computer proficiency SAP working knowledge.
• Good stakeholder Management skills
