Job Description

 

 

What are the Key Deliverables in this role?

Financial Outcomes

  • Achieve targeted OEE, machine uptime.
  • Asset efficiency, optimized wastages.
  • Drive process improvements, packaging value engineering.
  • Optimized spares and maintenance cost

Customer Service

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance
  • Liaison with the purchase for the low stock and over stock items and follow up for the same.

 

Internal Processes

  • Perform regular maintenance and inspections of machinery to ensure optimal operation.
  • Candidate should have B Electrical License certificate.
  • Candidate should have Operation & Maintenance experience in 11KV/33KV Substation, HT yard, Transformers.
  • Trouble shooting & Maintenance of Process Equipment Instruments in Electrical & Instrumentation perspective.
  • Should possess basis requirements of Safety /Quality/Electrical statutory/Spares Management.
  •   Supporting team for internal and external audits related work

Innovation and Learning

  • Work together with the indenter / user departments to ensure that required materials are made available to user departments.
  • Work as part of the Central team to share ideas and improve operation, recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities and process and procedure improvements to optimize results and improve quality of delivery

 

What are the Critical success factors for the Role?

  • Graduate in Commerce Preferably with Food Industry Experience.
  • 1-8 years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance experience in a reputed organization
  • Computer proficiency (MS office, SAP, MIS reports)
  • Relevant knowledge of Food Safety practices
  • Excellent leadership and man management skills. Preferably exposure to SAP based working Able to exercises some latitude and technical judgement in deciding work methods
  • Proven experience as an Equipment Technician in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Aptitude for working under pressure and managing emergencies.
  • Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members. Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making and commercially aware.
  • Basic awareness of statutory requirements

 

What are the Desirable success factors for the Role?

  • Knowledge of Food industry preferably in Packaging (Sauces, Chutneys, wet line etc.)
  • Good communication skills (English / Hindi / Marathi)
  • Good in Manpower Management Skills
