Job Description

 

 

What are the Key Deliverables in this role ?
Financial Outcomes

Resourcing & Talent Pipeline: Partner with leadership to identify resourcing needs and ensure timely closures by collaborating with Talent Acquisition. Build a strong talent pipeline in conjunction with Talent Management to support future business growth.
Customer Service

Strategic Business Partnering: Develop a deep understanding of the assigned function’s priorities and translate them into people and organizational objectives. Proactively diagnose challenges, address risks, and implement mitigation plans to support high-performing teams and business growth.

Employee Relations & Values Champion: Manage employee relations, including disciplinary matters and grievance handling. Advise and coach managers on ethical and disciplinary issues, consistently modeling and promoting organizational values.

Workforce Engagement & Diversity: Lead engagement initiatives to assess team morale, gather feedback, and develop targeted action plans. Foster an inclusive culture by driving Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) programs and maintaining regular touchpoints with employees.
Internal Processes

Process Excellence: Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COE) to drive core HR processes—recruitment, onboarding, performance management, rewards & recognition, org design, succession planning, compensation & benefits, DEI agenda, and statutory compliance.

Performance Management: Lead the performance management cycle (goal setting, mid-year/year-end reviews), ensuring timelines are met. Coach managers to foster a culture of continuous feedback and high performance. Support talent calibration and development planning.
Innovation and Learning

Capability Development: Identify training needs in partnership with business leaders; facilitate learning interventions with a focus on measurable business impact.
What are the Critical success factors for the Role?
Master’s degree in general management / human resources
2-4 years of relevant work experience
Strong business acumen and good understanding of strategic people processes.
Experience in partnering with senior business leaders in driving people agenda.
Good analytical & business communication skills, collaborative mindset
What are the Desirable success factors for the Role?
Good understanding of FMCG, FMCD, and AlcoBev industry dynamics is an added advantage.
