Job Description

 

 

 

 

What are the Key Deliverables in this role ?

Financial Outcomes

  • Drive end-to-end product development from concept to commercialization.

Customer Service

  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and consumer insight studies to identify new opportunities.

Internal Processes

  • Collaborate with R&D, regulatory, quality, procurement, marketing, and manufacturing teams.
  • Develop innovative formulations using novel bioactives, vitamins & minerals, botanical extracts, proteins, and other functional ingredients.
  • Coordinate product trials, pilot batches, stability studies, and product launches.
  • Ensure compliance with FSSAI/Ayush guidelines and industry quality standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with ingredient suppliers, contract manufacturers (CMUs), and research partners.

Innovation and Learning

  • Research emerging trends in nutrition, preventive healthcare, functional foods, gut health, immunity, sports nutrition, healthy aging, and women’s wellness.

 

 

What are the Critical success factors for the Role ?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Food Technology, Food Science, Biotechnology, Life Science, Nutrition Science or related fields.
  • 2–5 years of experience in New Product Development, R&D, Product Innovation, Formulation Development, or Nutraceutical Product Management.
  • Strong understanding of dietary supplements, functional ingredients, product formulation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Passion for health, wellness, preventive healthcare, and consumer-centric innovation.
