Job Description

 

 

  1. Maintenance Planning and Execution
    Lead preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities to ensure Plant equipment reliability and smooth plant operations.
  2. Cost Optimization
    Implement strategies to reduce maintenance & Utility Operation costs, manage vendor contracts, and control spare parts inventory efficiently.
  3. Production Support
    Ensure Process machinery and utilities are maintained to meet production schedules and quality standards, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
  4. Compliance and Safety
    Ensure adherence to safety protocols and statutory requirements and maintain readiness for all the time
  5. Team Collaboration
    Work closely with production, quality, and EHS, HR teams to resolve plant equipment’s & Plant infra related issues and deliver high service levels.
  6. Performance Monitoring
    Track key maintenance metrics such as Utility Availability, MTTR, MTBF, Specific fuel, water and fuel  and equipment uptime to drive continuous improvement.

Innovation and Capability Building
Promote new technologies and process improvements, while mentoring technicians and staying updated with industry trends.

  • Technical Expertise
    Demonstrates strong knowledge of Mechanical & Boiler, ETP, STP, WTP, COMPRESSOR, CHILLER, Cooling tower, Fuel handling, statutory and regulatory, PCB, RO Plants, Project management systems and industrial machinery, enabling effective maintenance planning and troubleshooting.
  • Utility Management Experience
    Possesses hands-on experience with essential plant utilities such as boilers, chillers, ETP systems, air compressors, and cooling systems, ensuring smooth and safe operations.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
    Applies logical thinking and root cause analysis to resolve equipment issues efficiently and prevent recurrence.
  • Leadership and Team Development
    Leads maintenance teams with clarity and purpose, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous skill development.
  • Mandatory Language Requirements Tamil language speak & Read

Regulatory and Safety Compliance
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of safety, statutory, and environmental regulations, ensuring all maintenance activities meet legal and operational standards
