The focus is on driving revenue, improving sales productivity, strengthening customer coverage, and enabling fact‑based decision‑making across Sales and Marketing teams.

What are the Key Deliverables in this role ?

Financial Outcomes

  • Deliver actionable insights and measurable business outcomes in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Digital, and Analytics stakeholders.
  • Drive adoption of data and analytics solutions to improve sales performance, productivity, and execution effectiveness.
  • Quantify, track, and report business value and ROI delivered through data‑driven sales initiatives.

Customer Service

 

  • Enable insight‑led decision‑making that supports improved sales execution and customer interactions.
  • Leverage analytics and AI capabilities to enhance sales effectiveness and responsiveness to customer needs.

Internal Processes

  • Translate business requirements into data, analytics, and AI requirements.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of sales analytics platforms and dashboards.
  • Ensure availability, accuracy, and reliability of sales data in line with defined SLAs.
  • Establish best practices for data governance, quality, security, and compliance.

Innovation and Learning

 

  • Enable a data‑driven sales culture through self‑service analytics and insight‑led decision‑making.
  • Identify, evaluate, and pilot new data, analytics, and AI capabilities relevant to sales effectiveness

 

What are the Critical success factors for the Role ?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in data analytics, data platforms, or commercial analytics roles.
  • Proven track record of delivering business impact for Sales and/or Marketing using data and analytics.
  • Experience working with modern, cloud-based data platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate data into business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging senior sales leadership.

Core Skills

  • Sales performance analytics (targets, MTD/YTD tracking, productivity, conversion).
  • Sales planning and forecasting analytics.
  • Dashboarding and insight storytelling for sales leaders.
  • Data modeling, ETL/ELT concepts, and analytics architecture fundamentals.
  • Data governance, quality management, and security best practices.
  • Vendor and partner management.
  • Program and delivery management in analytics initiatives.

What are the Desirable success factors for the Role?

  • Experience with CRM data, distributor or channel sales analytics.
  • Exposure to AI/ML use cases in sales (forecasting, segmentation, recommendations).
  • Experience enabling self-service analytics for business users.
  • Familiarity with pricing, promotions, and trade spend analytics.
  • Prior experience in large-scale sales transformations or digital initiatives.
