Job Description

 

 

Job Statement/Job Purpose:

  • Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and overseeing the onboarding process.
  • Oversee comprehensive administration activities such as Contract Labour Management, Transport, Housekeeping, Landscaping, canteen services, security operations, Accommodation, Visitor & Guest Management and guest house management.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory compliance requirements, including PF, ESI, gratuity, and labor laws.
  • Support payroll processing while maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives and effectively handle grievances.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Prepare HR reports and MIS for management review.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies on HR-related matters.
  • Foster positive relationships between management and employees to maintain a harmonious work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and company policies.
  • Liaise with labor unions and employee representatives, facilitating negotiations and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters, ensuring timely and fair resolution.
  • Coordinate and support the implementation of workplace policies related to industrial relations.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for audits, legal proceedings, and statutory reporting.
  • Advise management on IR strategies, workforce planning, and conflict resolution.
  • Organize employee welfare programs and engagement activities to promote morale and productivity.
  • Monitor trends in industrial relations and recommend improvements to processes or policies.
  • Support the handling of legal cases related to employment, disputes, and compliance.

Customer Service

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding time office functions and wage-related matters.
  • Provide administrative support for external employees to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the security and housekeeping teams to maintain effective and high-quality operations

Internal Processes

  • Responsible for maintaining training records and preparing Learning & Development (L&D) reports for operators.
  • Handle SA 8000 audits, safety audits, and customer audits in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Address and resolve employee queries related to learning and development.
  • Provide administrative support for HR innovation projects and initiatives.

 

Innovation and Learning

  • Adapt to the organization’s culture and demonstrate willingness to learn new ideas and updates.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure completion of training targets within the planned timelines.

 

What are the Critical success factors for the Role?

 

Education Level:

  • Postgraduate in HR, Business Administration, or related field like MSW / MHRM

Years of relevant experience:  

  • 3–5 years of experience in HR operations, preferably in manufacturing/plant setup.
