Job Description

 

 

  • To ensure smooth running of the machines without downtime by managing the predictive and preventive maintenance, CLIT.
  • To ensure the mechanical spares as per the buffer level & handle spares purchase. 
  • Responsible for machine unplanned breakdowns and should conduct RCA on such instances immediately and report to maintenance head.
  • Control of maintenance tools, stores and equipment.
  • To ensure that all direct monitoring and controlling maintenance costs.
  • To work closely with other Shift Supervisors/incharges  to ensure smooth production
  • To ensure good communication is given either verbally or written to Dept. employees
  • To ensure effective utilization of company resources in an effective manner to ensure best operating costs
  • Be able to make appropriate decisions while following the companies structure
  • Managing teams & Liaising with internal client departments and customers.
  • Diagnosing breakdown problems and analyze for non-repetition in future.
  • Preparing CAPEX budget and executing them in time.
  • Designing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods.
  • Encourage market channels for new technology and develop automation systems.
  • Planning and scheduling of Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Activities.
  • Train technicians on new technologies.
  • Maintain records (History cards of equipment, ISO documents, AMC records of equipment Etc..)
